This is a forever favorite brand session for graphic designer Salve Design Studio. Not only is she a talented artist and teacher, but she’s also one of my dearest friends.
She has created a beautiful brand for her own company, and it’s been the most amazing honor watching her business grow over the last two years.
We started Sohpie’s session planning by narrowing down the message we wanted to share with her audience during our planning meeting with a deep dive. Next, we narrowed down the parts of her business and interests she wanted to share with her potential clients.
We also settled on a location for her session, and I can’t think of a better choice. I met her in The Berkshires at her family’s farmhouse, which has been in the family for generations.
We planned most of our session in her grandparents’ home. We utilized her grandfather’s studio and the countless art books he curated over the years.
She’s a talented brand designer, and I love that she’s infused her love of music and travel into her brand. She has a long history and love of Italy, which is initially how we met over 11 years ago!
We highlighted a handful of albums that have been most meaningful to her. We also chatted through a few highlights of her process, including how she gathers inspiration when working with her clients.
This session for Salve Design Studio in the Berkshires was everything I dreamt it would be, and it was such an honor to help her bring to life one of the visual elements of her beautiful brand. Seeing how she’s utilized her brand imagery throughout her stunningly designed website and branding elements has been so fun.
Working with her has been such an honor!
