Just outside of Orvieto, nestled in the hills of rolling Umbria, we made our way to our first wine tasting of the trip. Based on our itinerary we were sure to be indulged by more than handful of wine glasses and decadent foods in the two weeks of our trip. 

But not many would bring as much joy as our impromptu stop on the side of the road somewhere between Sovana and Pitigliano. Our van slowed just around a bend in the road and unsure of whether we had reached our destination, we all looked curiously out the window. 

It wasn’t just the sight of these grazing sheep but the sounds of the bells around their necks that would mark the memory in our minds forever. As they grazed the tinkling of the metal created a little song that will forever remind me of Sovana and Pecorino Romano

My business has a made a lot of changes over the last five and half years. I’ve pretty much done and tried it all when it comes to types of work and tools that help me get the work done.

But there’s been one constant that I’m pretty sure won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. 

Imagine being able to send emails, invoices, proposals, and a whole slew of other business related documents in ONE place.

Then, open your eyes and stop daydreaming because it’s real… and it’s real helpful. AND it’s fun to use!

Honeybook has been my saving grace through many a business day. It’s where I’ve housed every single client contract for the last five and a half years. For the first six months I was printing and mailing client contracts, co signing, then scanning them in to my computer to email back to the client.

Not to mention the trips to the bank to deposit checks…

It’s where all of my beautiful pdfs and email templates live. I can even respond to inquiries (that come straight to my Honeybook workspace from my website) while I’m out the office. I can’t tell you how many times It’s kept me from losing it because I didn’t have my computer on hand.

I’m able to track data about where my leads are coming from, and track my calendar (even though those of you that know my know I live and breathe by my paper calendar) which gives me peace of mind.

I’m honestly not sure how my business would survive without HoneyBook. I mean it probably would but it wouldn’t be nearly as much fun as scrolling through the app. Yup..there’s an app. AND there’s a fun little “CHA CHING” sound when an invoice is paid. How fun is THAT!!

But the number one, absolute, never giving it up reason???

It gives me back my time!!! 

Never will I frantically look for a document/email I can’t find from a client. Because everything is in one beautiful little spot. I can quickly and easily run my business from anywhere in the world! Whether that’s sitting on the floor while Mav plays or replying to an email somewhere across the pond.

And that my friend is worth it’s weight in gold!
