As a business owner and “solopreneur”, keeping things organized and having systems in place is a must. So I’m coming at you today with five of my favorite business and productivity tools – just in case you’re using this forced time at home to better your workflow!
This is one of my absolute favorite tools for both business and personal. It’s on my phone and always open on my internet tabs. It’s where all of my client workflows are. I use it for brain dumps and holding all my course login info!
It can take a bit to adjust and get a flow going but I took this course two years ago and my relationship with this tool has been great ever since. This isn’t an affiliate link but I highly recommend the course. It even comes with pre laid out boards you can use as templates to get started which is worth the $29 fee alone. It was a game changer and worth every penny!
2. NOTES APP
Another freebie and most likely built right into your computer/phone. I use it to brain dump ideas for blog and Instagram posts. It houses our family grocery list.I also use it to house in the moment thoughts for things I want to write more about later. I also love that it’s cloud based so I can go back and forth between my computer and phone. You can even add family and friends to notes!
Oh how I love Flodesk! If you’re new to email newsletters or a seasoned professional, this one has endless things to offer.
I used to be terrified of the idea of sending out emails to my list. Everything seemed super hard to customize (or not really customizable at all without knowing how to code, which spoiler alert, I don’t). This always caused me to add it to a random “to-do later” list. You can probably imagine how that went…

Oh where would I be without my beloved Honeybook. This is the heavy hitter for my business. If you’re one of my current or past clients, you’ve 100 percent interacted with this platform. It’s where I handle every single interaction with clients from start to finish. Contracts, payments, feedback, emails, contact forms…this one has it all.
They’re also fabulous about keeping us updated with new tools (like a guide for Covid-19) and a great support community! I don’t know where I’d be without this one. Last but certainly not least, my favorite Instagram tool This where I organize my instagram feed and schedule out posts ahead of time. I’ll be honest, this is a bit of a struggle for me. I’m and enneagram 7 and kind of thrive on “in the moment” posting. But for my sanity, and the sake of delivering better content, Planoly is where that happens.
Tailwind- How I 13x my Pinterest views (and upped my website traffic)! This one was a game changer, I went from 16k monthly views to 200k in a month. Pinterest is also my absolute favorite platform, yep even more than Instagram.
