Just a hop across the water by ferry and you’ll arrive on Daufuskie just off the coast of Hilton Head. The most perfect little getaway for a wedding in the Low-Country (or a quiet vacation). Golf carts will be your main mode of transportation. You can stay in the most quaint little cabin on the marsh or the historic Mansion inside Haig Point. The perfect place to unplug!
Courtney and Chase tied the knot on this sweet little island on the first weekend in October. Some of their dearest friends and family made the trek by boat for a weekend getaway in the Lowcountry. And what a glorious weekend it was!!!

Located in the heart oh Hodges, SC just outside of Greenwood you’ll find this gem of a wedding venue. Cokesbury College is where I did my first photo session ever with one of my favorite families (Rebecca, if you’re reading this…Hi <3) back in 2012. It was such an amazing blessing to be back here with Lewis and Kate on their wedding day. In every room, you will find the most tasteful furniture, antique mirrors, and the gorgeous natural light pouring in. The bridal suite is painted the softest shade of blue and old hardwood floors
A beautiful statue greets you as you walk through the front gate and through the garden. As you walk in every room, you will find the most tasteful furniture, antique mirrors, and the gorgeous natural light pouring in. The bridal suite is painted the softest shade of blue and old hardwood floors greet you throughout. A curved iron staircase takes you to the second floor, where you will find the chapel. Sunlight pours through the large windows on both sides showing the way to beautiful pews from wall to wall.
“To every thing there is a season” Ecclesiastes 3:1
This verse is the background on my phone, and has been for the past 6 months or so. It’s a reminder that there’s a time for planting, a time for harvesting, a time for drawing in, a time for reflection. To me, spring is a time of refinement, a time for planting good seeds and dreaming big for the seasons ahead…
First, thanks for stopping in! It means so much that you decided to spend a moment of your busy day here with me! I’ll keep it short and sweet for now.
The years leading up to today haven’t been a perfectly smooth path. They’ve been a little twisty with a few bumps in the road and lots of throwing things at the wall until something sticks. I’ve started over more than a few times (who doesn’t love new beginnings?). I’ve been in a season of waiting, in a winter that has felt a little too long for comfort. But spring is here!!! The first day to be exact!!!
So what better time for a fresh start than the first day of Spring? When deciding when to bring this new, refinished brand to life, I couldn’t think of a better time.
Here’s a little of what you can expect going forward…
